Our rural location is ideal for cyclists, you are straight onto the open road. The local area is perfect for exploring by bike whether its on road or off road.

Hornsea (4 miles to the south), is the eastern point of the Transpennine Trail, which is cycle friendly. It starts in Hornsea (4 miles away) and ends in Southport to the south and York to the North.

Transpennine Trail

4 miles away!

Transpennine Trails most easterly point is in Hornsea town centre on the site of the disused railway station.

The trail leads to Selby from where you can proceed North to York or South across the Pennines to Southport where it ends.

Humber Bridge

Just a 45 minute drive away!

Linking East Yorkshire to North Lincolnshire, the Humber Bridge is the UK's longest single span suspension bridge.

It is also the longest bridge in the world that can be crossed by cycle or on foot. Formally opened in 1981 by Queen Elizabeth II.
